ACRWORLD's Oil & Gas Division flies to Qatar for a final presentation to Maersk Oil to become a recruitment partner
ACRWORLD tendered to become one of Maersk Oil, Qatar's recruitment partners. Our Oil & Gas Division flew to Qatar in May and successfully presented to Maersk's Recruitment Panel. We were subsequently appointed as a formal recruitment partner.
We are pleased to be associated with Maersk Oil, they have an excellent reputation which helps our job of finding specialist skill sets from around the world for their expansive operations in Qatar.
Maersk Oil is in the final stages of implementing the 2005 Field Development Plan (FDP) for the giant Al Shaheen field. All facilities, including 15 new platforms, were installed and hooked up in 2010. The drilling plan is continuing into early 2011 with over 160 wells planned. Studies into Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) are being made and new field development ideas are under discussion.
Maersk Oil built and is operating additional facilities for the gathering and delivery of associated gas to Qatar Petroleum for utilisation at their onshore plants.
Current oil production is just over 300,000 barrels a day.
