I'm representing a worldwide developer and owner of renewable energy assets, with an impressive portfolio already in operation within Australia. They have an excellent financial backing, and a realistic / achievable target of operational projects within the next 5 years.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the overall asset management of multiple renewable energy assets, ensuring maximum production and profitability. You will manage an existing, high performing team - and will be able to provide additional expertise to ensure this maintains as the portfolio becomes larger.
Responsibilities
- Maximise profitability of existing assets
- Strategic O&M planning for forthcoming projects
- Manage a high performing team
- Ensure the O&M contractor is performing as required
- Ensure safety and efficiency at operational sites.
- Develop strategies to improve production and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with teams on risk management and compliance
- Relevant engineering or equivalent
- Strong experience in the operations of renewable energy projects
- Proven leadership qualities
- Comfortable reporting up to board level
- Strong problem-solving, relationship management and negotiation skills
- Based in Sydney
