About the Role:
Our client, a highly-regarded specialist in the Australian piling industry, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in Sydney, the role involves managing projects primarily within the Sydney metro area, with occasional travel to sites across the states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive Project Construction Programs, including plant acquisition and commissioning.
- Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity independently.
- Prepare and submit weekly product delivery reports to the Construction Manager.
- Identify risks and opportunities, maintaining a detailed Project Risk Register.
- Prepare project tenders and bids while maintaining client engagement.
- Oversee project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (WHSEQ) standards.
- Foster a culture of quality and efficiency through effective Project Management Plans.
- Resolve technical challenges encountered during contract execution.
- Drive cost and time efficiencies across all operational activities.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout project lifecycles.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related disciplines (highly regarded).
- Proven experience in piling and/or ground engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical and foundation systems.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams and mentoring engineers and supervisors.
- Knowledge of commercial and contractual project aspects, including Australian contract laws.
- Construction White Card and full Australian working rights.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Project Management qualifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent). - Desired
