About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Safety Coordinator to join our clients growing team and advance their career in a supportive, professional environment. Based on-site at a solar farm in regional NSW, you will play a key role in upholding safety standards and fostering a proactive safety culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assist with hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Participate in and help facilitate toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions.
- Assist with incident investigations and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the site team to promote and maintain compliance with safety standards and legislation.
To Be Successful:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a direct HSE role, preferably within the construction industry.
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher
- A keen interest in safety within the construction or renewable energy sectors.
- Some prior experience in construction or solar projects (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
