They have an impressive pipeline of projects that includes the construction of HV Substations for NSPS, Grid Connection Projects for Developers of Wind & Solar Farms, as well as the delivery of large-scale battery projects.
About the Role
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate estimates for civil and renewable energy projects. They play a crucial role in ensuring competitive bids and efficient project management, as well as assisting in tender preparation, supporting construction teams, and contributing to administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring submissions to clients for expressions of interest and tenders comply with client requirements.
- Preparing sub-tenders and requests for quotations for all bids.
- Develop improved methods of carrying out works and increased costs and time efficiencies.
- Developing tender price in accordance with required processes.
- Develop market research methods and indicators to identify prospects.
- Building and maintaining collaborative business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience within the construction industry, with renewable experience in substation and BESS project.
- An expert within estimating including identifying cost options and preparing tenders and proposals.
- Proven commercial & risk, planning, project controls and contractual management skills
