About the Role: Our client are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team for an exciting Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Northern Victoria. This 3-month contract role will involve installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, primarily in the renewable energy sector. You will be working with a dynamic team on a cutting-edge project that supports Australia’s transition to cleaner energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for BESS projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations.
  • Perform electrical testing, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to meet project milestones.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Support commissioning and handover processes.
Key Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) or equivalent.
  • Valid Electrical License and relevant industry certifications.
  • Prior experience in industrial electrical work preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Current White Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work in regional and remote areas.
