Your New Role:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a high-performing team of bid delivery specialists. In this role, you’ll work on a diverse range of projects, from townhouses to high-rise residential and commercial buildings. You will play a key role in driving successful tenders, managing estimates, and negotiating with clients and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will be agile, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of their own projects.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, Construction Manager, and construction teams, as well as subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare comprehensive submissions, schedules, reports, and other documents related to tendering activities and E.O.I submissions.
  • Develop and submit accurate tender estimates, negotiating with subcontractors and clients to achieve final approval from the Bid Manager.
  • Work with the Bid Manager to implement strategies for winning projects and maintain departmental records for future reference.
  • Prepare cost plans for both design and construction projects as required.
  • Review and manage variations with construction teams when necessary.
For You to Be Successful:
  • A degree in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Estimating.
  • 5+ years of experience in estimating, preferably within a residential or apartment setting.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand tender documents, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and data sheets.
  • Proficient in Cubit/Global Estimating software and experienced in generating documents using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Client-focused with a strong service-oriented approach.
