The Role:
To manage the commercial side of the projects and create opportunities. To drive the commercial strategy, PPA negotiations, and revenue optimisation across its growing portfolio of solar, wind, and battery storage projects.
About you
This role requires a commercially astute individual who is contracts savvy and understands different contractual mechanisms. Ideally, you will have led PPA negotiations or have experience with project finance where you have managed tender responses and commercial proposals. The position holder must have the capacity to develop and maintain a community network and build meaningful business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Find and develop opportunities for sale for long-term bankable electricity contracts
- Negotiate commercial and legal terms of PPA or similar commercial agreements
- Create and maintain working relationships with potential electricity buyers
- Extensive experience in PPAs, energy trading, and commercial negotiations
- Strong understanding of renewable energy markets and risk management
- Ability to analyze market trends and optimize revenue streams
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
