This role involves proactively communicating any plant or machinery issues to the Maintenance Supervisor, as well as suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  
Responsibilities –

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks according to the weekly schedule.
• Minimize downtime by identifying and resolving mechanical issues promptly and safely.
• Monitor and report any excessive waste related to plant and equipment to the Shift Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain a well-organized workspace, ensuring tools and supplies are properly stored when not in use.
• Consistently uphold food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards in line with BRC, HACCP, and GMP requirements.
• Support the Engineering Department in meeting deadlines for new installations and plant improvements.

Requirements –

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry within a mechanical position.
• Experience working in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing facility.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Good computer literacy skills.
• Have good written and communication skills and the ability to take direction.
